What we’ve learned
“We are drowning in information, while starving for wisdom. The world henceforth will be run by synthesizers, people able to put together the right information at the right time, think critically about it, and make important choices wisely.”
- EO Wilson (1998). Consilience: The Unity of Knowledge. New York: Vintage
The DG Murray Trust would like to draw on the experience of its implementing partners in synthesising and sharing information that is of use to practitioners and policy makers. This is a new function for us, so we don’t yet have much to share in an easy way. If you’re a grant recipient of The DG Murray Trust, or even if you’re not but feel that you have experience in implementing programmes relevant to DGMT’s five programmes, please write up your experience in the learning brief format and send it through to hands-on@dgmt.co.za. In future, we will expect our grant recipients to submit all progress reports in the learning brief format.
