About the photographers

Tembile ‘Teddy’ Sambu
Teddy is the owner and founder of Khanya Photo and Video Productions. Operating in Khayeltisha, Teddy’s images are printed onto birthday cakes, family albums, or photoshopped to create his clients’ ultimate fantasy vacation pics.
Khanya’s biggest asset is Teddy’s grasp of the power of images, and their role in honouring those around us. Teddy joined the 44Black team, a division of Freeway Football in 2009, since then Teddy has grown in all areas of his business and has excelled in his technical abilities allowing 44Black to send him on corporate commissions with confidence.
Teddy has recently been featured in Drum magazine profiling him as the Entrepreneur of the month and he continues to impress clients and the community with his photographic skills.
