The DGMT will only consider applications for appropriate projects that meet the programme descriptions, objectives and impact.  Prospective applicants are advised to read the detail of each programme to ensure that their project meets the criteria laid down.

In addition the DGMT will generally not fund:

• Organisations that are not involved in Public Benefit Activities or which are not registered as NPOs or PBOs,
• Individual schools unless there are compelling reasons, such as clear evidence of excellence in performance;
• Individual Early Childhood Development sites;
• Competitive sporting events;
• Religious or party political activities.

Applications for projects which clearly do not fall within the programme requirements will not be acknowledged.
